Keuken inrichting

Bij het uitkiezen van een nieuwe keuken inrichting komt heel wat kijken. Belangrijk om aan te denken, is het volgende:

1. Welke meubels wil ik graag terugzien in mijn keuken? Denk aan een aanrechtblad, keukenkastjes of een kookeiland.
2. Welke apparatuur heb ik nodig? Zoals een oven, fornuis of koelkast.
3. Hoe groot is mijn keuken en hoe kan ik deze het best indelen?

Een kleine keuken efficiënt indelen

In een wat kleinere keuken kan het vaak even puzzelen zijn wat de beste indeling is. Aan de ene kant wilt u natuurlijk graag dat uw keuken van diverse gemakken voorzien is. Aan de andere kant moet hij niet overvol komen te staan met apparatuur of kastjes, waardoor er geen loop- of aanrechtruimte meer beschikbaar is.

De beste ideeën voor een kleine keuken

Een van de belangrijkste geheimen voor het efficiënt inrichten van een kleine keuken is stapelen. Maar dan op een handige manier.

• Kies voor hoge keukenkastjes aan de wand. Meer plankjes met een kleinere afstand ertussen (bijvoorbeeld drie in plaats van twee) zorgen ervoor dat u meer klein of laag serviesgoed kwijt kunt in dezelfde ruimte.
• Ga voor combi-apparatuur. Bijvoorbeeld een elektrische oven en magnetron in 1. Of een kokend-waterkraan zodat u geen waterkoker of fluitketel op uw aanrechtblad hoeft te plaatsen.
• Als u niet zoveel kastruimte heeft, bewaar dan de keukenspullen die u niet zo vaak gebruikt in een aparte kast – bijvoorbeeld in de woonkamer. Denk aan speciaal serviesgoed, een wafelijzer of bakblikken.
• Is er nog ruimte over aan de wand, hangt u daar dan een mooi rek op waar u bijvoorbeeld mokken of keukengerei zoals spatels en gardes aan kwijt kunt.
• Heeft u nog een kleine ruimte over tussen bijvoorbeeld de koelkast en de muur? Dan is een verticale lade een hele goede oplossing voor onder andere voedselvoorraad. Daarmee stapelt u eenvoudig uw spullen boven elkaar en kunt u ze ook nog makkelijk pakken.

Mooi design in een grote keuken

Als u een grote ruimte beschikbaar heeft om uw keuken in te plaatsen, dan kunt u echt alle kanten op. Afhankelijk van de vorm van de ruimte en uw stijlvoorkeur, kunt u bijvoorbeeld kiezen voor een u-vormige of hoekkeuken met veel aanrechtruimte, of een groot en handig kookeiland.

Als u dan toch de ruimte heeft, zijn dit enkele aanraders:

• Een kookeiland dat ook dienstdoet als bar om aan te eten.
• Een mooie, ruime eettafel van massief hout van uw voorkeur.
• Een grote koelkast met alle functies waar u altijd al van heeft gedroomd (zoals een aparte wijnkoeler of ijsmachine).
• Kies voor apparaten van groot formaat, zodat de afstand tussen verschillende werkruimtes niet te groot wordt.
• Of richt uw keuken juist minimalistisch in en creëer een gevoel van ruimte in een moderne stijl.

Praktisch en tegelijkertijd een genot voor het oog

Als u eenmaal heeft bedacht uit welke elementen uw keuken moet bestaan, is het tijd om na te denken over de algehele uitstraling. Niet alleen de apparatuur en meubels zijn bepalend voor de uitstraling. Juist de basiselementen in de ruimte zetten de toon.
